Product Development Specialist
QUALIFICATION
· Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology, Packaging Engineering, Graphic Arts, Industrial Design, or a related field. Equivalent extensive experience will be considered.
· Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in product development, or pre-press within the offset printing and packaging industry.
· Proven track record of working directly with multinational (MNC) customers in a B2B environment. Experience in FMCG, cosmetics, or luxury goods packaging is highly desirable.
· Deep, practical knowledge of the offset printing process (sheet-fed) including color management, ink systems, and press operations.
· Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop, for reviewing and analyzing customer artwork.
· Strong knowledge of pre-press software is a significant advantage.
· Proficiency in reading and interpreting dielines and complex packaging structures.
· Solid understanding of a wide range of packaging substrates (paperboard, CCNB, SBS, etc.), coatings, and finishing techniques.
· Experience with color measurement tools (spectrophotometers) and digital proofing systems.
· Competence with MS Office and Project Management software.
· Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical customers and internal stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
Experience in packaging printing is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Manage the entire development process for new packaging projects, creating and maintaining detailed project timelines.
