Location & Mobility

  • Placement:
    Senayan, South Jakarta
  • Willing to travel occasionally (business trips) to Jakarta, Cikarang, or other project sites across Indonesia as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Energy, Industrial), Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Management
  • Maximum 3 years of working experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
  • Proven experience in
    procurement of high-value engineering or technical materials/equipment (e.g. solar panels, inverters, cables, mounting systems, electrical components, or other industrial goods)
  • Not focused on small-value or office supply procurement (e.g. stationery, GA items, or IT/service vendors)
  • Strong ability in sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with international vendors, including from China, Southeast Asia, or Europe
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage
  • Solid understanding of import/export processes and documentation (Incoterms, customs clearance, shipping documents)
  • Proficient in Google Sheet (intermediate–advanced) and ERP / e-procurement systems
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple procurement pipelines simultaneously
  • Capable of cost analysis, risk evaluation, and total cost of ownership (TCO) comparison
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team
  • Proactive, analytical, and efficiency-driven mindset
  • Willing to work using personal laptop
  • High integrity, strong communication, and accountability

Job Description

  • Identify and handle procurement needs for engineering and high-value materials related to solar power (PLTS) projects.
  • Conduct vendor sourcing and qualification (local and international), ensuring quality, delivery reliability, and commercial competitiveness.
  • Lead price, term, and contract negotiations with suppliers to secure cost-efficient and reliable supply.
  • Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) accurately, aligning with project specifications and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor production, shipment, and delivery progress, coordinating closely with logistics, warehouse, and project teams.
  • Manage and archive procurement documentation, including PO, invoice, delivery, and customs documents.
  • Work with the engineering and project management teams to clarify technical specifications and ensure correct material selection.
  • Analyze vendor performance and maintain relationships to ensure long-term reliability and supply continuity.
  • Support forecasting and cost estimation for future projects and material planning.
  • Provide periodic procurement reports covering PO status, vendor scorecards, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Continuously identify and propose process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and transparency.
