Cloud Network Engineer – Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
At least 3–5 years of experience in cloud networking or infrastructure roles
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience in designing and managing hybrid cloud environments
Proficient in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, HTTP/HTTPS, BGP, etc.)
Familiar with firewall configuration, load balancing, and network segmentation
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
Skilled in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing network performance
Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.)
Familiarity with containerization and Kubernetes networking
Experience integrating cloud connectivity (VPC, Peering, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Ability to collaborate effectively with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams
