Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute long-term strategies for business growth and market expansion.
- Align operational and financial objectives with corporate strategy.
- Identify new opportunities in irradiation services, including medical, food, and industrial applications.
2. Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of irradiation facilities to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability.
- Manage preventive maintenance, calibration, and quality assurance programs.
- Ensure compliance with national and international radiation safety standards (BAPETEN, IAEA, ISO, FDA, etc.).
3. Business Development & Client Relations
- Build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and research partners.
- Lead business development initiatives and customer acquisition strategies.
- Oversee proposal preparation, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
4. Financial & Performance Management
- Develop and control annual budgets, operational costs, and revenue targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
- Drive cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Regulatory & Quality Compliance
- Ensure the facility operates in full compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Oversee licensing, certification, and audits by regulatory bodies (e.g., BAPETEN, BPOM, ISO).
- Promote a strong culture of safety and quality across all departments.
6. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
- Implement performance evaluation, training, and succession planning.
- Foster a collaborative, innovation-driven, and accountable work environment.
7. Innovation & Technology Advancement
- Promote R&D initiatives and partnerships to enhance irradiation technology and process innovation.
- Evaluate new equipment, automation, and digital transformation opportunities.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and global best practices in sterilization and irradiation.
Qualifications
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, or Industrial) or related science field.
- Advanced business management qualification (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
- Certified Radiation Protection Officer (RPO) or equivalent radiation safety certification is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in industrial operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management or general manager role.
- Proven leadership in irradiation, sterilization, biotechnology, or related process industries.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (IAEA, BAPETEN, BPOM, ISO 11137, etc.).
Technical & Managerial Skills
- Solid knowledge of irradiation technologies (E-Beam, Gamma, or X-Ray).
- Strong financial acumen and strategic business planning skills.
- Excellent command of operational management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Proficiency in regulatory compliance, HSE, and quality management systems.
