Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef De Partie Pastry, located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Chef De Partie Pastry is responsible for preparing and creating high-quality pastry items while maintaining kitchen efficiency and cleanliness. Key tasks include planning and executing dessert menus, supervising and mentoring junior pastry chefs, ensuring ingredient quality, and managing inventory. The role also involves maintaining food safety standards and contributing innovative ideas to enhance menu offerings.
Qualifications
- Expertise in pastry techniques, dessert preparation, and innovative recipe creation
- Experience in planning dessert menus and managing inventory
- Ability to lead and mentor junior kitchen staff with strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary degree or formal training in pastry arts is preferred
- Previous experience in high-end or fine-dining establishments is an advantage
- Passion for creating desserts with excellent presentation and taste
