Junior Quality Engineer

As a Junior Quality Engineer at TechMaju, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, consistency, and quality of our platform experiences. Working closely with Solutions Engineers, Software Engineers, and our AI-first application platform, you'll help validate, test, and refine both the platform and customer-specific solutions.

This entry-level position is designed for individuals passionate about building a foundation in software quality, automation, and platform innovation. You'll be mentored to grow into a Solutions Engineer, gaining exposure to system integration, workflow optimization, and customer success along the way.

Experience:

• 0–2 years of experience in software testing, QA, or a related technical role.
• Exposure to web application testing, preferably in SaaS or enterprise systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
• Fresh graduates with relevant coursework, internships, or project experience are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
• Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or similar) is an advantage.
• Understanding of APIs, database queries (SQL), and web technologies (HTML, JSON, REST).
• Interest in exploring the latest AI LLMs, AI-assisted testing, and no-code/low-code validation frameworks.

Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication skills with professional-level English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Quality Assurance & Testing:

• Execute functional and regression tests for platform modules and customer implementations.
• Document test results, identify defects, and collaborate with engineers for timely resolution.
• Assist in maintaining test data, scripts, and reusable test artifacts.

Automation & Tooling:

• Support development of test automation scripts and frameworks using no-code or script-based tools.
• Participate in evaluating and adopting AI-driven testing or workflow optimization tools.

Product Collaboration:

• Work with Solutions Engineers to validate platform behavior during integrations and deployments.
• Provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams for continuous improvement.

Learning & Growth:

• Participate in internal QA and technical skill development programs.
• Contribute to the improvement of quality processes and testing best practices.
• Prepare to evolve into a Solutions Engineer role with increasing technical ownership and customer interaction.
