Job Overview:
The
Training Manager
is responsible for designing, developing, and executing learning and development strategies to enhance employee capability, support business objectives, and promote a strong performance-driven culture. This role will oversee all training programs — from onboarding and technical skill enhancement to leadership and behavioral development — ensuring alignment with company values and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive training roadmap that supports company goals and people development strategies.
- Conduct training needs analyses across departments and functions to identify competency gaps and prioritize development areas.
- Design and deliver training modules covering technical, functional, leadership, and soft skills.
- Manage onboarding programs to ensure effective integration of new hires.
- Partner with department heads to create tailored learning paths and career development programs.
- Establish metrics to measure training effectiveness, ROI, and impact on performance.
- Continuously review and update materials, delivery methods, and schedules for improvement.
- Drive initiatives that reinforce company values, leadership culture, and engagement across all levels.
- Coach line managers to become effective trainers and mentors within their teams.
- Manage relationships with external trainers, vendors, and institutions.
- Ensure all training activities comply with regulatory and safety requirements, especially in production and operations environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or related field.
- Minimum
7 years of experience
in Learning & Development or Training Management, preferably in
FMCG, manufacturing, or hospitality
industries. - Proven experience designing and executing company-wide training programs.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Proficient in using digital learning tools and LMS platforms.
- Certification in training, coaching, or HR development (e.g., CPLP, SHRM-CP, or similar) is an advantage.
