How can you support us? Here are below your responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, developing, and executing offshore lifting and installation activities in support of hook-up and construction operations.
- Prepare detailed lifting plans and rigging studies in accordance with BP Lifting & Hoisting standards, ensuring they meet all technical and safety requirements.
- Submit lifting plans for review and approval by BP's Lifting Technical Authority prior to execution.
- Supervise and coordinate offshore lifting operations, including critical and non-routine lifts (e.g., modules, equipment, structural elements).
- Interface with rigging teams, crane operators, construction supervisors, and marine crews to ensure safe and compliant lift execution.
- Ensure lifting equipment is certified, properly selected, and inspected before use.
- Support deck layout planning, loadout operations, and the safe installation of materials during hook-up.
- Develop and Review Lifting Plans & Rigging Sketches, Method Statements / JSAs, Crane Lift Charts and Technical Data Sheets, Deck Layout Plans
What are we looking for?
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Structural, Marine, or related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5–8 years of offshore experience in lifting and installation engineering roles.
- Previous experience working under BP lifting protocols is strongly preferred.
- Background in piping, structural lifts from accommodation work barge to final location inside the wellhead platform in brownfield/greenfield hook-up (familiar with manual handling, rigging and arrangements inside the wellhead platform).
- Familiar with installation sequencing and interface coordination with structural, piping, and mechanical disciplines.
