Position Summary:
The Billing Executive is responsible for overseeing all tasks related to
invoicing, contract management
, and follow-up on
payment collections
. This role ensures smooth and timely processing of
sales documentation
and
supports the finance and sales teams
to maintain accurate records and optimize cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire invoicing process from creation to delivery to clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee contract management, including preparation, review, approvals, and archiving.
- Actively follow up on outstanding payments and coordinate collection efforts to meet company receivables targets. Lead payment collection planning and action by active and tactful communication with clients' multiple departments to ensure payment collection on time.
- Liaise with the sales, finance, and legal departments to resolve any issues related to invoices or contracts. Manage contract related documentation like Bank Guarantee and Performance Bond, track expiry and renewal to ensure smooth payment collection.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales operations documents and reports.
- Monitor and report on payment collection performance metrics and propose improvements to optimize collections.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements in contracting and invoicing.
- Support audits and financial reconciliations related to sales transactions.
Experience Required:
- Minimum
2-5 years
of experience in
collections
or
credit control
, preferably within
sales operations
environments. - Proven track record in managing
invoices, contracts
, and
payment follow-ups
effectively. - Strong understanding of credit management and
collection strategies
.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
- Additional certifications in credit management or sales operations will be a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in
ERP, CRM, and invoicing software. - Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
