About The Role
As a Modern Data & AI Architect, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues by understanding the business strategy and create the data strategy to execution.
In this role, you will:
- Drive business in the area of Data & AI.
- To be workstream lead in project delivery or be technical project manager in project delivery.
- Review code written by data / AI engineer and to look for optimization.
- Skills development to the juniors.
- Developing proposal with the team, conducting demo / workshop and hands on lab with client.
- Drive and take ownership for developing connections that help deliver what is best for our people and stakeholders.
- Influence and facilitate the creation of long-term relationships which add value to the firm.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
What We're Looking For
Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in Engineering design recommendations.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- At least 8 years of experience in designing data platform, data engineering pipelines, data model and data governance.
- Have been involved in pre-sales stage to understand requirements, design the solution, proposal making and tender presentation plus demo.
- At least 5 years in handling Databricks related projects, understand Microsoft Azure Data Services/ Microsoft Fabric.
- Evaluating cloud application or cloud data platform requirements and make architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications.
- Designing and deploying dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications.
- Leading architectural and engineering reviews of proposed solution.
- Providing seasoned advice on application solutions including assisting with planning and architectural design, development, resolution of technical issues, and application rationalization.
- Mandatory to be certified in any of the cloud service provider solution architect.
- Mandatory to have complete at least 5 life cycle of Databricks project on Microsoft Azure.
- Mandatory to know and done projects leveraging on PySpark or Spark languages.
