Role Purpose:

Support the preparation, analysis, and delivery of accurate and timely management reports to facilitate informed decision-making. Ensure financial data integrity, consistency across reporting systems, and compliance with company standards and procedures for deepwater project operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare regular management and financial performance reports, including variance analyses and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Consolidate financial and operational data from multiple sources to support management review and business planning.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate data, trend analysis, and financial insights.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly closing activities, ensuring accuracy and consistency of reported figures.
  • Support the preparation of internal management reports, business performance dashboards, and presentations for management review.
  • Analyze actual vs. budget results, highlighting key variances and underlying drivers.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Finance, Operations) to ensure data accuracy and alignment in reporting.
  • Ensure all reporting and analysis activities are performed in compliance with company accounting standards, policies, and internal controls.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in reporting processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from management or corporate functions.

Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelors degree (S1) in Economics, Accounting, or Business.

Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in management accounting, financial reporting, or related fields.
  • Experience in the oil & gas industry or project-based environment is an advantage.
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and financial reporting tools.

Technical & Management Skills:

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Good understanding of management accounting concepts and financial metrics.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive, organized, and collaborative mindset in a multi-discipline, fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to integrity, accuracy, and continuous improvement in reporting quality.
