Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Mentor: Guide and develop the data engineering team, overseeing projects and providing technical guidance.
- Architect & Build: Design, construct, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Optimize & Ensure Quality: Monitor, debug, and optimize system performance, and implement robust data governance.
- Collaborate: Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
Job Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in advanced SQL and data modeling.
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery.
- Strong programming skills (preferred in Python).
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and their data services.
- Proven experience with data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) and ETL/ELT processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in a senior or lead role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
