The Production Scheduler job description revolves around ensuring manufacturing processes run efficiently by developing and implementing production schedules. As a Production Scheduler, you will work alongside other departments in the manufacturing industry, such as operations and purchasing, to ensure that goods are produced according to customer demand and delivery requirements. Your day-to-day tasks will include analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks, coordinating with other teams to eliminate production constraints, and adjusting production schedules to maximize output while managing resources effectively. You will also track inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials. The ideal Production Scheduler candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively

This function will be reporting to the Production Planner Taste who is based in dsm-firmenich, Cileungsi, Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage production schedules based on customer orders and available capacity.
  • Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
  • Monitor production progress, adjust schedules as needed, and communicate updates to management.
  • Identify potential delays or issues and implement contingency plans to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate production data and assist in inventory management, including material usage and forecasting.
  • Evaluate production processes for efficiency, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and recommend improvements.

You Bring

  • Associate's degree in management, bachelor's degree is an advantage.
  • Experience in production scheduling and planning minimum 2 years.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with SAP Production Planning and Execution
  • Ability to create and understand reports in order to make production decisions.
  • A desire to promote the success of the organization and production staff.
