About the role
PT YKK Zipper Indonesia is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Depok, West Java. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our advanced manufacturing processes and equipment. What you'll be doing
- Analyse, troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing machinery and equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in the selection, installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on the operation and maintenance of machinery
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Hands-on experience in machine troubleshooting, maintenance and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of relevant manufacturing regulations, safety standards and industry best practices
