What is the role about?

As Project Acquisition Manager – Instrumentation Projects, you will take a central role in driving Endress+Hauser's project business in Indonesia by managing the entire acquisition cycle and ensuring successful delivery across various process industries. From tender preparation and technical proposals to bid submission, handover, and project execution, you'll drive technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and seamless team coordination.

A key aspect of this role involves direct engagement with customers to understand their specific requirements, validate technical & agreement assumptions, and ensure that proposals are both accurate and aligned with their operational needs. Your ability to translate customer insights into tailored instrumentation solutions will be critical to our success across diverse industries.

Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

  • Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for instrumentation projects, ensuring full compliance with tender requirements and internal standards
  • Analyse project specifications, assess and modify tender agreement, identify risks, and design instrumentation solutions aligned with Endress+Hauser's product portfolio
  • Collaborate across departments—including Sales, Engineering, Project Execution, Documentation, Legal, Service, Technical Support, Accounting, Logistics, and Production—to develop tailored solutions that meet customer expectations while ensuring internal alignment and project success
  • Manage instrumentation projects from acquisition, oversee execution to support Project Manager to ensure on-time delivery, cost control, and adherence to scope and quality standards
  • Serve as the main point of contact during project acquisition, maintaining clear and consistent communication with customers and internal teams
  • Build strong customer relationships and drive satisfaction through proactive support and issue resolution
  • Identify and mitigate technical, contractual, and operational risks throughout the project acquisition lifecycle
  • Support Project Manager in change and claims management processes, and identify opportunities to expand the scope within the instrumentation portfolio
    Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and developments in the instrumentation project space, and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes

What do we expect from you?

You:

  • Hold a degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • Hold Contract Management certification

  • Have solid experience in project acquisition, tendering, or proposal management within the instrumentation, automation, or process industry environment

  • Possess strong technical understanding of process instrumentation, control systems, or measurement technology

  • Are experienced in managing end-to-end tender processes and working with EPCs, system integrators, and industrial customers

  • Demonstrate excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills with a proactive and structured working style

  • Have a very good command of English (both written and spoken)

  • Enjoy working collaboratively in a cross-functional team with a strong customer orientation and solution-driven mindset
