Required Experience & Technical Skills:
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration in a corporate environment.
- Medium to Expert-level knowledge in managing Oracle Databases that run core enterprise systems and Data Warehouses.
- Proven experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application administration and maintenance.
- Strong proficiency in database performance tuning, patching, security hardening, and backup/recovery procedures using tools like RMAN.
- Solid experience with Linux and Unix operating systems, particularly AIX.
- Familiarity with other major RDBMS platforms, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server.
- A solid understanding of broader IT architecture principles, including servers, storage, and networking.
Advantageous Skills:
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) is highly desirable.
