The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

The
HR Executive
is expected to partner with the
management
members of the region and Global HR to determine implement best practice and ensure HR processes run smoothly. The role forms a vital link in the organization. As such, you will be expected to collaborate with the teams on joint strategic deliverables, build strong relationships and collectively identify strategic needs, lead all aspects of finance.

Key Performance Indicators and Metrics

People Strategy

  • Actively contribute to develop the company culture and philosophy
  • Management and implementation of HR policies and procedures including the Employee Handbook
  • Ensure the organization is compliant with and updated on all appropriate local employment legislation
  • Deliver change management projects at the local level, provide expert advice on regulatory processes

Recruitment, Assessment, Selection and Induction
.

  • Manage full recruitment processes, from job posting and sourcing to interviewing and making offers
  • Provide advice & support to managers on recruitment, assessment and selection processes
  • Coordinate the appointment process for successful applicants
  • Ensure all employees have a contract of employment on commencement of employment
  • Support managers to create & manage a probation plan for each new employee
  • Responsible for the onboarding process for all new employees

Performance Management

  • Coordinate the appraisal and performance review process
  • Manage sickness, absence, disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Identify areas that require improvement to support productive, efficient and good quality provision of services to external and internal customers
  • Help to create and maintain a culture of recognition for achievement
  • Administer PIP for underperforming employees and advice managers on ongoing management

Learning & Development

  • Manage training requests and ensure appropriate learning and development for teams and individuals, based on identified training needs
  • Provide guidance on development for managers and their teams

Reward & Recognition

  • Manage the payroll provider & the payroll processes for assigned territory
  • Provide input to Global HR on local market trends

Career & Succession Planning, Retention

  • Work with managers and Global HR to ensure that HR issues are appropriately addressed
  • Manage succession planning and retention

General

  • Continuously strive to improve the HR support to the organization, through expert advice and guidance to line managers and Global HR
  • Write and present information briefings over a wide range of HR related topics

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven track records of executing change management e.g. restructuring and organization design
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Significant experience in delivering successful HR support
  • Sound knowledge of employment issues e.g. absence management, disciplinary & grievance
  • Experience in interpreting, advising and implementing policies and procedures
  • Excellent and sensitive communication skills at all levels
  • Tact and diplomacy with the ability to deal with difficult situations
  • High level of confidentially
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to write and present information

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources
  • Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
  • Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
  • Attention to detail and good judgement
