Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project control, planning or project management in construction/utilities/water treatment projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willing to be assigned to any project location as needed.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Develop and monitor the project control system, including scheduling, cost control, budgeting, and progress reporting.
  • Prepare and update project work schedules (time, cost, and resources), ensuring alignment with project plans.
  • Monitor project performance indicators (timeline, budget, resources, quality) and highlight deviations.
  • Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions for cost, schedule and resource overruns.
  • Support the Project Manager and Project Leaders in preparing progress reports and management presentations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure accurate reporting of project status.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and project governance standards.
  • Develop risk registers and assist in project risk management activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation of project financials, change orders and forecasting.
  • Act as a liaison between project teams and finance/management for cost monitoring and reporting.
