Our client is a leading Data Center operator on growth mode building AI-ready Data Centres, backed by one of Indonesia's largest business groups. They are currently scaling rapidly with a new hyperscale-ready campus in Jakarta and seek a visionary sales leader to capture strategic deals with hyperscalers (especially Chinese cloud giants) and major enterprises.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate Your Own Pipeline: Build and own a robust sales funnel through direct outreach, industry events, partnerships, and C-suite engagement – targeting hyperscalers, enterprises, and AI/cloud innovators.

  • Unlock Chinese Hyperscaler Expansion: Actively penetrate Chinese tech giants' APAC strategies; understand their Indonesia roadmap and position our client as their critical infrastructure partner.

  • Enterprise Land & Expand: Hunt new enterprise logos (finance, tech, industry) for colocation/hybrid solutions, then drive expansion within accounts.

  • Lead Market Dominance: Develop and execute sales strategies to secure large-scale contracts with *global hyperscalers (e.g., Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, ByteDance etc), enterprise clients, and AI innovators.

  • Unlock Chinese Hyperscaler Demand: Leverage your existing relationships and deep understanding of Chinese tech giants' APAC expansion needs to convert high-value opportunities.

  • Enterprise Growth: Build C-suite partnerships with Indonesian financial, tech, and industrial enterprises requiring hybrid/colocation solutions.

  • Drive Revenue: Own P&L

  • Shape Strategy: Collaborate with development teams to align our client's existing DC campus (and future sites) with customer technical/regulatory demands.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in data center/cloud infrastructure sales, with proven success closing $10M+ deals with hyperscalers and enterprises.

  • Strong track record selling to Chinese hyperscalers (Alibaba, Tencent, Huawei Cloud, etc.) and navigating their procurement processes.

  • Deep knowledge of Indonesia's data center landscape, including regulatory frameworks (e.g., data sovereignty) and power infrastructure.

  • Existing C-level relationships with hyperscalers, enterprises, and channel partners in ASEAN.

  • Fluency in English; Mandarin proficiency is a *significant advantage*.
