Job Title: SAP PP / PM & QM Functional Test Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Test Lead with strong domain knowledge in SAP PP (Production Planning), PM (Plant Maintenance), and QM (Quality Management). The role requires expertise in test planning, test execution, defect management, test automation coordination, and SAP process validation across manufacturing and supply chain modules.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end SAP functional testing for PP, PM, and QM modules

Prepare and execute test strategy, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases

Validate business processes including production planning, shop floor control, plant maintenance, equipment lifecycle, quality inspection, and quality notifications

Perform integration testing across MM, SD, EWM, FICO, and MES interfaces

Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with business stakeholders and ensure sign-offs

Manage defect lifecycle (logging, triage, tracking, reporting & closure) via ALM tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, Solution Manager)

Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, business SMEs, and cross-functional teams

Drive test automation strategy by identifying regression suite candidates (working with automation teams)

Provide daily test progress, risk, and status reports to stakeholders

Ensure test traceability through RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix)

Validate SAP master data, configuration, transactional flows, and integration points

Support cut-over activities, Go-Live validation, and hypercare support

Required Skills & Qualifications

SAP Functional Expertise

Strong experience in SAP PP, PM, QM modules

In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, maintenance workflows, and quality inspection cycles

Experience with master data: BOM, work centers, task lists, equipment, functional locations, inspection plans, etc.

Hands-on knowledge of production orders, maintenance orders, quality notifications, results recording, usage decision, and calibration processes
