About the role

As a Presales Engineer at PT Platinumetrix Global Inovasi', you will will bridge the gap between our sales and technical teams, delivering compelling solution pitches for IBM technologies, data platforms, and custom software development services. This full-time role is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and craft tailored technical solutions.
  • Deliver high-impact product demos, POCs, and presentations to showcase capabilities in IBM platforms, data solutions, and custom development.
  • Translate complex technical features into clear business value propositions.
  • Lead technical discussions with prospective customers, including C-level and technical stakeholders.
  • Work with solution architects and developers to create proposals, solution blueprints, and estimates.
  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and create technical documentation and solution narratives.
  • Stay updated on IBM products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years in a technical presales, solution consulting, or solution engineering role.
  • Strong understanding of IBM ecosystem (e.g., IBM Cloud, IBM API Connect, IBM Maximo, IBM DataStage, IBM Watson).
  • Experience with data platforms (e.g., data lakes, analytics, integration, governance).
  • Exposure to custom application development (Java, Python, JavaScript, APIs, microservices).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to write clear, concise proposals and solution documents.
