About the role

Keppel is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Executive, IT to join our team in Bintan, Riau Islands. This full-time role is responsible for providing efficient and effective IT support to ensure the smooth operation of the company's systems and infrastructure. As a key member of the IT team, you will play a vital role in supporting the business and contributing to the company's success.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide first-line IT support and troubleshooting to resolve hardware, software and network issues
  • Maintain and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, servers, and network security systems within the hotel
  • Manage user accounts, email setup, software licensing, and hotel systems (e.g. PMS, POS)
  • Respond to and document IT-related inquiries and requests in a timely manner, also doing IT reports and asset inventory
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures
  • Support IT-related projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements
  • Ensure timely data backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed
  • Respond quickly to IT-related issues and ensure effective follow-up until resolved

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as IT staff or support or helpdesk role in hotel, resort or hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, LAN/WAN networks, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Hands-on experience with hotel systems such as PMS (Property Management System), POS (Point of Sale), CCTV, and Wi-Fi infrastructure
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity and data protection protocols
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals
  • Willingness to work on shifts or respond during emergency situations when required
