About the role
We are seeking a Front Desk Assistant to join our team at Sikara Lombok Hotel. This is a contract position based in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. As the Front Desk Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our guests and ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front office.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival, checking them in and out efficiently
- Responding to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly and professional manner
- Handling cash, credit card and other payment transactions accurately
- Maintaining detailed guest records and updating reservation systems
- Assisting with baggage handling and providing concierge services as needed
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls
- Ensuring the front desk area is well-organised and presentable at all times
What we're looking for
- At least 1 year of experience in a front desk or customer service role in the hospitality industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant computer programs
- Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
- A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
