Key Responsibilities
Pizza Preparation & Execution:
- Expertly prepare and bake a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in dough handling, stretching, saucing, and cheesing techniques.
- Execute custom and complex pizza orders accurately and efficiently.
Mise en Place & Prep Work:
- Maintain a complete and organized station by managing the mise en place for all pizza ingredients, including preparing and storing pizza dough, chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and prepping cheeses and sauces.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for all pizza-related ingredients, notifying the supervisor of any shortages.
Bulk Order Management:
- Take the lead in managing and fulfilling bulk pizza orders promptly and accurately, coordinating with other staff to ensure timely delivery or pickup.
- Organize the production line to handle high-volume demands efficiently without compromising quality.
Hygiene & Safety:
- Strictly adhere to all local and company food safety and hygiene standards, including proper temperature control, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, regularly cleaning all equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
Teamwork & Operations:
- Collaborate effectively with all kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist with other general kitchen duties as required.
- Work Schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off.
- Hours: 10 hours per day.
- Breaks: Includes a 1 hr break
- Proven experience as a Pizza Cook or Line Cook in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain high-quality standards under pressure, particularly when handling bulk orders.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to stand for long periods.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
