Trading & Business Development General Manager
Job Description :
· Direct and control the staff of the product marketing department to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
· Responsible to carry out market research to determine customer requirements for company products.
· Responsible to carry out research into business development by competitors.
· Identify any new developments required in existing products to maintain their market competitiveness.
· Oversee research into new product developments to ensure that any required changes are made within the agreed timeline and budget.
· Develop plans for the launch of new products into all relevant markets.
· Monitor the product development budget to ensure that all targets are met within specified budget limits.
· Maintain an awareness of new development in the product development field to ensure that the company maintains its competitive advantage.
· Knowledge, skills and experience to generate sales to achieve maximum profitability against annual sales targets.
Requirements :
Bachelors degree from reputable University
Min. 10 years experience in related field eg. Sales,Trading, Marketing, Product Development
Preferably having in-depth knowledge of Petrochemical industry, a thorough understanding of the company and its markets;
Personality and fluent in English both speaking and writing
Numerical Literate
Willing to travel Nations/various areas, including remote area
Highly developed interpersonal skills
Max 48 years old
