About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Accounting Manager to join our client. As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial accounting and reporting functions within our Karawang, West Java location. This full-time position is integral to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and contributing to the overall financial success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Make plan and organize the Accounting teams and all sections to achieve monthly and yearly closing deadline
  • Responsible to strengthen accounting Entry accuracy, Strengthen accounting reporting refer to Indonesia Accounting Standard (IAS) and International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS)
  • Responsible to prepare the monthly reports to HQ Japan, Quarterly Report to HQ Japan and monthly Management report
  • Responsible to organize and analyze monthly and yearly the Profit and Loss (PL) variance analysis
    provide the financial report as a routine with business performance analysis to find the weakness then find the countermeasure to improve these to get better profit.
  • Handle corporate taxes for audit and assisted the tax consultant for tax dispute
  • Propose Tax Planning to company for the improvement related to New Regulation and existing regulation
  • Maintain company's taxes compliance with updated Indonesian taxation regulation.
  • Responsible for preparing all taxation related reconciliation's including VAT reconciliation's

What we're looking for

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a well-known university.
  • Significant experience (5+ years) as a Accounting Manager or in a similar senior production role.
  • Strong background in Japanese Manufacturing financial operations, cost accounting, etc.
  • Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems), advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Able to speak English both spoken & written.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with international and local tax laws, IFRS, and financial compliance regulations.
