Summary

Planet Surf is one of Indonesia's leading retail brands with 60+ stores nationwide and now we're growing our
website into a major sales channel

We're looking for a
hands-on, commercially driven E-Commerce Manager

to take full ownership of our online store.

This role covers
website operations, conversion optimization, SEO, and brand partnerships

while working closely with IT (bugs & fixes), Marketing (ads & campaigns), and Ops (fulfillment). You'll start as a
solo operator

, but as results grow, you'll have the chance to
build your own support team

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily website operations: product uploads, banners, collections, and campaign landing pages.
  • Optimize the online customer journey (bundles, upsells, vouchers, checkout flow, loyalty mechanics).
  • Implement
    on-page SEO best practices

(titles, meta descriptions, keywords, alt text, content updates).
- Coordinate with IT to resolve Shopify bugs UX/UI, enhancements, and performance issues.
- Work with Marketing on ad briefs, campaign direction, and landing page optimization.
- Develop and enforce SOPs for orders, returns, and refunds.
- Monitor and improve KPIs: sales, conversion rate, retention, repeat purchase.
- Scout, negotiate, and onboard new partner brands to enrich the website assortment.
- Provide regular performance reports and growth recommendations to management.

  • Monthly website revenue.
  • Conversion rate improvement.
  • Retention & repeat purchase %.
  • Number and quality of partner brands onboarded.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of e-commerce experience (preferably in retail/fashion).
  • Hands-on experience with
    Shopify

and e-commerce analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of conversion funnels and customer journey optimization.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functionally (Marketing, Ops, IT).
- Commercial mindset with proven negotiation skills for brand partnerships.
- Proactive, independent, and eager to grow into a leadership role.
