Role OverviewThe Area Sales Manager will be responsible for leading regional sales operations and offline market expansion, ensuring strong commercial performance and visibility within the assigned area. This role requires a strategic yet hands‑on leader who can balance sales execution, team development, and distributor management, while maintaining close collaboration with both local and expatriate stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines data‑driven decision‑making with strong field leadership and agility in fast‑paced FMCG environments.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage sales, coverage, and distribution performance across the assigned region.
- Drive offline channel expansion and visibility, ensuring sustainable sell‑in and sell‑out growth across GT, MT, and other retail channels.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors, sub‑distributors, and key trade partners to achieve business targets.
- Collaborate with trade marketing, finance, and supply chain to ensure smooth operational execution.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to support business decisions.
- Lead, coach, and develop sales teams, ensuring route effectiveness, discipline, and productivity.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
- Min. 3 years of experience in FMCG managerial sales role.

- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging expatriate leaders.

Dealer Sales Support – Home Appliances & Electronics Responsibilities- Visit dealers to ensure monthly contract, achievement, maintain good relationship.
- Tracking and monitoring day to day all sales activity and reporting to the Branch Manager.
- Monitoring Sales progress update according to sales forecast.
- Ensuring achievement for contract, campaign and all targets for dealer.
- Ensuring achievement for sales omzet, campaign and all targets for stores.
- Update branch daily and monthly report (branch achievement and condition, dealer PSI, other brand activity).
- Ensuring dealers purchase products by issuing PO.
- Manage product returns that are deemed not to meet specifications.
- Doing counter-invoices (invoices, and travel documents).
- Support administration of rebates and completeness of other documents such as invoices.
- Doing sell through products from dealers to sub dealers/shops.
- Handling complaint from the dealer.
- Do daily PO/Daily sales forecasting.
