Position Summary

The Finance & Accounting Staff is responsible for supporting finance and accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliation, tax administration, and reporting. This role ensures accurate and timely financial records, proper controls, and compliance with applicable regulations, especially those related to P2P Lending (LPBBTI) overseen by OJK.

Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Operations

  • Perform daily financial recordkeeping and bookkeeping activities.
  • Process journal entries, maintain general ledger, and support month-end closing.
  • Conduct verification of invoices, supporting documents, and payment requests.
  • Assist in fixed asset recording and depreciation tracking.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial and accounting records.

2. Reconciliation & Settlement

  • Support reconciliation of escrow and virtual accounts between P2P system, banks, and internal records.
  • Coordinate with Operations team to ensure accuracy of lender–borrower cash movements.
  • Identify discrepancies and follow up on resolution.

3. Financial Reporting Support

  • Assist in preparing periodic financial reports (weekly/monthly).
  • Support data entry and preparation for management reporting.
  • Help maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with PSAK.

4. Tax Administration

  • Assist in tax calculations, preparation, and filing (PPN, PPh21, PPh23, and others).
  • Maintain proper tax documentation.
  • Liaise with external tax consultants when needed.

5. Compliance & Audit Support

  • Support OJK and regulator-related reporting by providing required financial data.
  • Prepare materials for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure financial processes comply with internal policies and SOPs.

6. Payments & Cash Management

  • Support payment processing to vendors, suppliers, and employees.
  • Assist in monitoring cash balances and fund movements.

7. Administration & Collaboration

  • Work with cross-functional teams (Ops, Risk, Product) for transactional and accounting needs.
  • Assist Finance & Accounting Manager in any ad hoc tasks or projects.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Experience in financial services / P2P lending / fintech is an advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge may be considered.

Skills

  • Knowledge of PSAK principles.
  • Familiarity with taxation basics (PPN, PPh).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Jurnal, SAP, Accurate).
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong numerical skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Integrity and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling escrow/virtual account transaction reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with operational/settlement processes in lending or fintech.
  • Understanding of OJK regulatory environment for P2P lending.
