About the Role
Are you passionate about cloud environment and solving real-world migration challenges?
We're looking for a Cloud & Migration Engineer to join our team and take ownership of end-to-end cloud migration projects to support our client's needs for data & migration process.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing infrastructure and recommend migration strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, security compliance assessment, testing, etc).
- Doing consultancy for clients related to migration of apps, databases, and services to cloud platforms.
- Monitor and optimize post-migration performance and cost-efficiency.
- Document architecture and migration processes thoroughly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Information Technology or equivalent and relevant degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center & application migration projects in private cloud (certified in VMware cloud foundation or VMware cloud director is a plus).
- Having updated knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Solid understanding of end-to-end virtualization process and cloud security best practices.
- Must be fluent in English (written & spoken).
- Proactive, mature, able to work individually or among teams, and able to perform management skills Able to be responsible in mature working environment.
