Implementation Project Manager (Indonesia-based)

Location: Jakarta

Reports to: Head of Implementation / COO

Role Objective

Lead end-to-end implementation of Smart Salary HRIS & Payroll projects — ensuring on-time, on-scope, and high-quality delivery.

Coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Success) and client stakeholders (HR / Finance) to guarantee successful go-live and consistent client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full implementation lifecycle — from kick-off, requirement gathering, configuration, UAT to go-live.

  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, define milestones, track progress and risks.

  • Coordinate internal resources to resolve delivery issues efficiently.

  • Control project scope, manage change requests, and protect delivery timelines.

  • Organize client training, UAT sessions, and hand-over documentation.

  • Provide weekly project reports and conduct post-implementation reviews.

  • Optimize delivery processes, templates, and build a standardized PM framework (mini-PMO).

  • Collaborate closely with Pre-sales and Customer Success teams to drive continuous improvement in client experience.

Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree or higher, with 3+ years of HRIS / ERP / SaaS implementation or delivery experience.


• Proven record of managing multiple client projects simultaneously.


• Knowledge of HR & Payroll processes (BPJS, PPh 21, Attendance, Overtime) is a plus.


• Familiar with project tools (Excel Gantt / Asana / Monday / Jira / ClickUp).


• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.


• Fluent in English, Bahasa Indonesia (native). Mandarin is an advantage.


• Strong ownership mindset, structured thinking, and ability to work under pressure.
