About the role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to join our team at PT Jaya Konstruksi Manggala Pratama, Tbk'. As the Mechanical Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical installation and maintenance of our construction projects in North Jakarta. This is a full-time position that will allow you to leverage your expertise and lead a team of skilled professionals.
What you'll be doing
- Develop and implement comprehensive mechanical installation and maintenance plans to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects
- Manage a team of mechanical technicians and coordinate their activities to optimise efficiency and productivity
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve mechanical-related issues
- Monitor and report on the progress of mechanical work, making adjustments as needed to meet project timelines
- Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, sharing your expertise to enhance overall project performance
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of experience as a Mechanical Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including design, installation, and maintenance procedures
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and other construction documents
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure
- Proven track record of leading and motivating a team of mechanical technicians
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with relevant construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
