Are you passionate about crafting beautiful, intuitive user experiences and turning them into clean, scalable code? Do you love mapping out flows in Figma, obsessing over layout details, and seeing your work go live for real users?

We're building a next-generation suite of SaaS products for enterprises across Southeast Asia — and we're looking for a Junior Frontend Engineer who can think like a designer, build like a developer, and (optionally) prototype for mobile.

You'll work directly with the founder (a full-stack engineer), helping shape the design system, product UX, and frontend execution from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

  • Design beautiful, consistent user interfaces and flows in Figma
  • Translate Figma designs into clean, reusable components using React-Native, , Tailwind, TypeScript
  • Build smooth, responsive user experiences for web (and optionally mobile, using React Native or PWA)
  • Collaborate on product and UX decisions — not just build what's given
  • Fix bugs, polish UX, and proactively improve frontend structure
  • Contribute to internal documentation, component libraries, and design guidelines
  • Use tools like Cursor, Copilot, Figma, ClickUp, and Git productively
  • Work closely with the backend team to ship well-integrated features

Qualifications:

Must-haves

  • Strong experience with Figma — layouting, prototyping, components, and design systems
  • Good understanding of React, React Native, , TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
  • Clear thinking around UI/UX — user flows, spacing, responsive design, interaction logic
  • Able to go from idea → Figma → working code with minimal hand-holding
  • Strong communication skills, willingness to learn, and high ownership
  • Comfortable working onsite in a focused, fast-paced environment

Highly valued

  • Experience building or contributing to a design system
  • Exposure to mobile development (React Native or Progressive Web Apps)
  • Familiarity with frontend testing tools (Jest, React Testing Library, etc.)
  • Startup, freelance, or product-building background

Benefits:

  • Work directly with the founder — and learn by building.
  • Ship features that are used by real users, not stuck in backlog hell.
  • Be part of the founding team — your work will shape the company.
  • Gain end-to-end product experience, not just ticket-tapping.
  • High ownership. Low politics. Clear mission.
