Job Description
- Supervise jointing, outdoor termination, and GIS termination works for HVC systems, ensuring compliance with SOPs, manufacturer manuals, and health & safety standards (K3).
- Develop technical designs and routing plans for HVC installations, including the preparation of BOQs (jointing kits, terminations, link boxes, etc.) and defining cable pulling methods and accessory placement based on site conditions.
- Prepare TPG (Technical Particular Guarantee) documents and technical data for tenders or procurement processes.
- Coordinate effectively with cable jointers, vendors, and on-site stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Produce detailed technical reports and maintain proper work documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power).
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in HVC installation projects (70 kV – 500 kV).
- Strong understanding of jointing and termination processes, as well as related tools and equipment.
- Proficient in HVC accessories design, cable routing layout, and BOQ preparation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings provided by cable and jointing kit manufacturers.
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and responsible with a solid background in field-based project work.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight project deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for effective coordination across teams and stakeholders.
