Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
- Minimum 5–7 years' experience in FP&A—budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis—preferably within Beauty or FMCG industries
- Proven track record in building driver-based financial models, scenario planning, and long-term strategic plans
- Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, scenario manager) and hands-on experience with ERP/financial systems (SAP FI-CO, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to create interactive dashboards and management reports
- Solid understanding of PSAK (Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards) and IFRS
- Relevant certifications such as CFA, CMA, or CTP are a plus
- Experience working in FMCG, Pharmaceutical, or Beauty industries is an advantage
- Strong analytical mindset, "finance storytelling" capability, and excellent stakeholder-management skills
Job Responsibilities:
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
Lead the annual budget process by coordinating inputs across functions, developing driver-based models, and presenting consolidated forecasts; maintain rolling forecasts and stress-test multiple scenarios against market dynamics. - Variance Analysis:
Conduct in-depth analyses of monthly/quarterly variances versus plan, pinpoint root causes (e.g., sales mix shifts, cost overruns), and present clear, actionable recommendations to business leaders. - Financial Modeling:
Build and maintain dynamic models for new product launches, pricing optimization, working capital scenarios, and ROI analyses; ensure models are transparent, scalable, and easily updatable. - Management Reporting:
Design, automate, and deliver interactive dashboards and executive summaries using Power BI or Tableau; present monthly performance reviews and KPI scorecards to the C-suite and department heads. - Strategic Planning:
Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to translate strategic objectives into detailed financial roadmaps—supporting market-entry assessments, product prioritization, and profitability improvement initiatives. - Ad-hoc Analysis & Business Partnering:
Respond to special requests (e.g., cost-benefit studies, margin improvement deep-dives, market expansion analyses), translating complex data into concise narratives and recommendations. - Process Improvement & Automation:
Identify and implement automation opportunities within FP&A workflows—leveraging advanced Excel macros, ERP reporting, or BI enhancements—to boost efficiency, accuracy, and data governance. - Risk Assessment
and
Mitigation:
Evaluate financial and operational risks (including currency fluctuations, raw material price volatility, and regulatory changes), develop mitigation strategies, and integrate risk considerations into planning processes. - Support Capital & Resource Allocation:
Assist in evaluating capital expenditure proposals, prepare scenario analyses for ROI, and recommend optimal allocation of financial resources in line with strategic priorities.
