Head of People Operations
, you'll lead the end-to-end people function—ensuring smooth operations, strong partnerships with the business, and a thriving employee experience.
You'll oversee the HR Operations and HRBP teams to build scalable systems, enable leaders, and shape a culture where every Jago team member can grow and perform at their best.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic People Leadership
- Partner with the COO and leadership team to design and execute the overall people strategy.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HRBP and People Ops teams to deliver high-impact people solutions.
- Translate business goals into people strategies that drive growth, performance, and engagement.
- Use data and insights to guide decision-making and measure HR effectiveness.
HR Business Partnering
- Oversee HRBPs in supporting department heads on workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.
- Ensure HRBPs act as trusted advisors to the business, balancing people needs with organizational goals.
- Align HR programs (compensation, learning, performance, culture) with business priorities.
HR Operations & Systems
- Manage the full HR operations spectrum: payroll, attendance, benefits, HRIS, and compliance.
- Ensure processes are efficient, consistent, and compliant with Indonesian labor law.
- Identify and implement process improvements or digital tools to enhance employee experience.
- Oversee accurate and timely HR reporting and analytics.
Culture, Engagement, and Employee Experience
- Champion Jago Coffee's values and embed them in daily operations.
- Build employee engagement initiatives that strengthen belonging and retention.
- Support leaders in driving positive culture and open communication across teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in HR with strong exposure to both HR operations and HR business partnering.
- Proven leadership experience managing HRBP teams or multi-function HR teams.
- Deep knowledge of Indonesian labor law and people processes.
- Strong business acumen and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Background in F&B, retail, or fast-paced environments is a strong plus.
