Our client, a newly established manufacturing company, is seeking a Mandarin Translator to support smooth and accurate communication within the plant. The role will serve as a bridge between Mandarin, English, and Indonesian across departments, ensuring clarity in both technical and managerial contexts.
Job Descriptions:
- Translate documents, reports, and communications between Mandarin with English or Indonesian.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural sensitivity in all translations.
- Proofread and edit translated materials for grammar, terminology, and tone.
- Provide interpretation support for meetings, phone calls, or video conferences when required.
- Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Management teams to enhance internal and external communication.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Chinese Language, Communication, or a related field (preferred).
- Proficient in Mandarin, both spoken and written.
- Minimum 1-2 years proven experience as a translator, interpreter, or related language specialist, especially in manufacturing sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and writing style in both languages.
- Strong analytical and research skills to ensure contextual accuracy and understanding of specific terminology.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have a HSK certification is preferred.
