Bidding Management or Vendor Management is responsible for managing the procurement of non-production materials and services, including sourcing vendors and overseeing the bidding process. This role ensures cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services to support the organization’s operational needs.
Responsibilities- Identify and evaluate potential vendors for non-production materials and services.
- Conduct market research to find reliable and cost-effective suppliers.
- Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) during the bidding process.
- Evaluate vendor bidding based on cost, quality, delivery time, and other criteria.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and cost standards.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, vendor performance, and cost savings.
- Intermediate to Advanced in English (written & speaking).
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in General Affairs, Purchasing or related field (Fresh Graduate welcome).
- Strong knowledge of vendor management and bidding processes.
- Ability to maintain bidding and sourcing vendor documents.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.

- Check for grammatical or spelling errors in the document as these are often a warning sign of fraud.
- Beware of employers or agents using webmail email addresses such as @Yahoo @Hotmail or other free webmail domains.
- If you are asked for anything from a recruiter on behalf of us, please contact the local police as this is most likely a scam.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and certifications in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing innovative supply chain solutions.
- Willing to work in Karawang Barat.
In this position, you will support the BG Asia Supply Chain Leadership Team to implement the end-to-end Supply Chain strategy in Asia, through various key projects in domains of manufacturing, planning and logistics, and finance. Your primary responsibility is providing data-driven insights in areas above.

- Knowledge of supply chain and business processes.
- Full understanding of financial KPI’s, IAR calculations.

- Performance management and analysis: Drive standardisation in performance reporting, supported by BI and data analytics to create best in class insights for business and serve a solid overview of our current finance performance as well as expected outlook. Perform deep dives to further understand performance drivers.
- Support supply chain strategy and change agenda: Manage changes/transformations as a consequence of global/regional network optimisations. This includes preparation of business cases, in collaboration with strategy and partnerships team.
- Driver Performance+ agenda: Support achievement of Performance+ targets in all workstreams by actively governing the process, monitoring progress of initiatives and providing strong support to OpCos in various aspects including technical help in Shibumi, validation of savings, main BG support in DTV sub-workstream etc.
- Standardisation and centralisation of processes: Support Cluster Finance Controller in transforming the business by driving further alignment and harmonisation of Finance processes and the way we work in supply chain. Support ESSA‑T project to free up OpCo controllers’ time for business partnering. (e.g., standardise processes, improve insights, simplify reporting etc.).
