Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a CDP - Indonesian Food Specialist based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The role involves preparing and cooking Indonesian food, managing food and beverage services, and ensuring high standards in food preparation and service. Daily tasks include maintaining kitchen hygiene, coordinating with the team, and ensuring the quality of dishes served.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in an Indonesian restaurant or culinary setting.
  • Strong knowledge of authentic Indonesian cuisine, traditional spices, and regional cooking techniques.
  • Skilled in food preparation, plating, and maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while ensuring food quality and hygiene standards.
  • Creative and passionate about developing and modernizing Indonesian dishes in line with market trends.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills to guide junior kitchen staff effectively.
