The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in both Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate technical documents, manuals, and product descriptions from English to Mandarin and vice versa.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in translations, maintaining the original meaning and context.
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand and accurately convey technical concepts.
- Proofread and edit translations to ensure quality and correctness.
- Assist in the localization of software, websites, and other digital content.
- Maintain a glossary of technical terms and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Provide cultural insights and adaptations to ensure the content is relevant to the target audience.
Requirements
- Minimum Education : Senior High School or relevant in Translation, Linguistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a technical translator, preferably in the Chemical or Manufactur sector.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin and English.
- Strong understanding of chemical, technical terminology and concepts.
