Job Description:
- Lead the development and delivery of civil engineering designs, technical documentation, part specifications, and design standards across infrastructure and building projects.
- Oversee and review detailed engineering calculations, structural analyses, and technical plans.
- Manage, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team across departments.
- Conduct trend research and foster innovation in design processes, material selection, and modelling methodologies.
- Ensure accurate documentation, version control, and compliance for all technical changes, engineering drawings, and revisions.
- Evaluate team performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and align goals with company objectives.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and long-term project planning.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety protocols, and industry standards at every stage of the design and finalization process.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure alignment on design and execution requirements.
- Supervise the use of civil engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000) and ensure team proficiency in technical platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QS with at least 2 years in managerial level.
- Solid knowledge of local construction market pricing, contracts (FIDIC, local formats), and procurement procedures.
- Strong understanding of civil, structural, and construction works in industrial settings.
- Proficient in QS software, AutoCAD, MS Office, and Excel
- High integrity individual with excellent analytical, communication, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work on-site in an industrial estate setting and manage multiple project packages simultaneously.
