Job Description:

  • Lead the development and delivery of civil engineering designs, technical documentation, part specifications, and design standards across infrastructure and building projects.
  • Oversee and review detailed engineering calculations, structural analyses, and technical plans.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team across departments.
  • Conduct trend research and foster innovation in design processes, material selection, and modelling methodologies.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, version control, and compliance for all technical changes, engineering drawings, and revisions.
  • Evaluate team performance, conduct regular performance reviews, and align goals with company objectives.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and long-term project planning.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety protocols, and industry standards at every stage of the design and finalization process.
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure alignment on design and execution requirements.
  • Supervise the use of civil engineering software tools (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, SAP2000) and ensure team proficiency in technical platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in QS with at least 2 years in managerial level.
  • Solid knowledge of local construction market pricing, contracts (FIDIC, local formats), and procurement procedures.
  • Strong understanding of civil, structural, and construction works in industrial settings.
  • Proficient in QS software, AutoCAD, MS Office, and Excel
  • High integrity individual with excellent analytical, communication, and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work on-site in an industrial estate setting and manage multiple project packages simultaneously.
