Job Description:

Deploy, configure, and maintain security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, Endpoint Security, and Vulnerability Scanners.
Conduct security system configuration, hardening, and network security implementation.
Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT) for web and mobile applications.
Analyze security logs, report findings, and assist in incident response.
Collaborate with IT, development, and operations teams to integrate security controls within infrastructure and applications.
Maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident logs.
Support security awareness training initiatives across the organization.
Stay updated on emerging security threats, technologies, and regulatory changes; propose improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in information security, including both security engineering and analysis roles.
Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS), operating systems (Windows, Linux), and security technologies.
Practical experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners, and cloud security (AWS, GCP).
Proven experience in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT) for web and mobile applications.
Understanding of incident response processes, threat intelligence, and malware analysis.
Familiarity with regulatory standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, UU PDP).
Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or similar languages.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving security threats and technologies.
