JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Lead and supervise the estimation team for Electrical & Mechanical works.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare and finalize cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions.
- Analyze material, equipment, labor, and subcontractor quotations.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams.
- Monitor market prices, cost trends, and supplier data.
- Support management in contract negotiations and risk assessment.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
- Provide value engineering and cost optimization recommendations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Master's Degree preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in cost estimation and tendering for large-scale multidisciplinary projects (Electrical & Mechanical).
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building services, materials, and MEP systems.
- Proven ability to prepare and review detailed cost estimates, BOQ, and tender submissions.
- Strong understanding of local and international codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficient in estimation software and tools, including Cubicost and MS Excel.
- Capable of performing cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessment for multi-discipline projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and local regulations.
- Skilled in accurately interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills for coordination with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and tendering for large-scale civil engineering projects.
- Capable of preparing and reviewing detailed cost reports and managing tender submissions to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites as required.
