About the role
PT Kunfa Plastic International is seeking an experienced Mandarin Translator to join our team in Bekasi, West Java. This full-time role will be responsible for providing high-quality translation services between Mandarin and English, supporting our international business operations and communication.
What you'll be doing
- Translate a variety of documents, including business correspondence, contracts, reports, and marketing materials, between Mandarin and English
- Interpret during meetings, conference calls, and other business interactions with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners
- Review and proofread translations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and cultural appropriateness
- Develop and maintain translation glossaries and style guides to ensure consistency across all communications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand context and deliver effective translations
- Stay up-to-date with industry terminology and best practices in translation
What we're looking for
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to translate between the two languages with a high degree of accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional translation experience, preferably in a business or corporate setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent terminology and style
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in using translation software and tools
