Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Head Chef specializing in Indonesian cuisine. The role is on-site and located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Head Chef will oversee the kitchen operations, including managing staff, creating menus, ensuring consistent quality in food preparation and presentation, maintaining sanitation standards, and managing inventory and costs. The Head Chef will also collaborate with restaurant management to enhance the dining experience and introduce innovative dishes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Indonesian cuisine and culinary techniques
- Experience in kitchen management and staff supervision
- Menu development and cost management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Creativity and innovation in culinary arts
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in inventory and cost management
