Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist the Senior Manager of EHS in establishing and implementing a robust EHS Management System aligned with the company Group EHS framework.
  • Maintain the country/business’s EHS Management System and facilitate internal and external audits and the certified accreditation process.
  • Support oversight of construction projects (including A&A and customer fit‑out projects) and DC operations, ensuring compliance with GMS, statutory obligations, codes, laws, and other relevant standards.
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners’ onsite management team to implement and maintain the EHS Management System.
  • Work closely with the Data Centre Operations team and contractors to plan and execute activities safely and in full compliance with legal and EHS requirements.
  • Review high‑risk construction project and operational data centre work processes and documentation, including risk assessments, safe work procedures, worker competencies, and equipment licences.
  • Conduct 6‑monthly EHS compliance audits for construction and A&A projects, prepare audit reports, and follow up on findings with stakeholders, ensuring closure.
  • Plan and perform regular EHS assurance walk‑downs, task observations, and inspections for construction and data centre activities; prepare findings reports and follow up to closure.
  • Oversee all EHS incidents, including near‑misses, and ensure they are reported and investigated in conformance with company Incident Management Standards.
  • Review incident reports and investigations for completeness and ensure injury management requirements are met in line with Standards.
  • Attend all essential EHS meetings/reviews and prepare meeting minutes as directed by the Senior Manager of EHS.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and executing EHS programmes, procedures, and awareness activities for the business.
  • Support any other EHS activities, initiatives, and tasks as assigned for construction projects and data centre operations.
  • Facilitate collation and sharing of EHS knowledge, lessons learned, and best practices to drive continual improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Tertiary Level Qualification in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience managing EHS in construction with at least two years in a live asset operation environment; data centre experience is an added advantage.
  • Experience in developing and rolling out EHS management systems, processes, and programmes, including data analytics and reporting of leading and lagging indicators.
  • Proven track record in driving positive EHS outcomes within a challenging environment.
  • Recognised EHS‑related professional certification and/or accreditation is required.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in EHS management, preferably in a data centre setting.
  • Exposure to international EHS standards and best practices is an advantage.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication in English and the relevant local language (Bahasa Indonesia).
