About the job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
MEP Engineer
to join our team for a
data center construction project
. As part of a Project Management Consultant (PMC) company, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, installation, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Review & Technical Oversight

  • Review MEP designs and shop drawings for compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues.

Construction Monitoring

  • Supervise on-site MEP works including HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, and plumbing systems.
  • Ensure timely execution of MEP activities in line with project schedules and quality benchmarks.

Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
  • Support the PMC team in managing project timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation related to MEP scope.

Testing & Commissioning

  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with Tier standards (e.g., Uptime Institute Tier III/IV).

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and progress reports.
  • Prepare technical reports and contribute to client presentations and project updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP engineering, with at least 2 years in data center or mission-critical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEEE, etc.) and local building codes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
