The ideal candidate
will be responsible for leading and growing the company's business development function. This candidate will have the ability to identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue growth. They should possess strong leadership skills, a commercial mindset, and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable strategies that strengthen the company's market position

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the Business Development team to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across key verticals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's client base and market presence
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Marketing, Creative, Account Management, and Operations) to ensure alignment of strategies and deliverables
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies and identify new growth areas
  • Present and negotiate proposals, ensuring profitability and long-term partnership value

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or sales leadership roles, preferably within a creative or digital agency
  • Strong track record of achieving revenue targets and driving sustainable growth
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Possess a network of relevant industry contacts (a strong plus)
