HOKA -, a Japanese bakery specializing in scones, is looking for passionate and detail-oriented Pastry/Baker Team Members to join our kitchen team.
Responsibilities:
Daily Production Support
- Assist in preparing, mixing, shaping, baking, and finishing scones and other baked items under the direction of the Head Baker
- Follow standardized recipes to maintain consistent quality, taste, and portion control
- Accurately measure and scale ingredients, keeping proper mise en place and timing
- Carry out prep lists and batch production to meet daily service needs and special orders
Cleanliness & Kitchen Maintenance
- Keep your workstation clean, organized, and food-safe at all times
- Follow hygiene and food safety SOPs: labeling, storage, cross-contamination prevention, etc.
- Maintain and clean all tools, equipment, and surfaces during and after shifts
- Participate in daily and weekly deep cleaning routines set by the Head Baker
Requirements:
- Experience in a bakery, pastry, or food production environment preferred
- Passion for baking and a willingness to learn
- Attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to work clean
- Team player attitude with strong communication skills
