Job Title: BIM Modeler-Electrical

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced BIM (Building Information Modeling) Modeler specializing in Electrical systems to join our team. As a BIM Modeler - Electrical, you will be responsible for creating and managing detailed BIM models of electrical systems for various construction projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the electrical design within the BIM environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop accurate and detailed BIM models of electrical systems using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
Develop and maintain Revit families, including parametric frameworks, geometry, and types and Create schedules from models with properties.
Collaborate with the design team to ensure that electrical design requirements are incorporated into BIM models effectively (LV & ELV).
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to resolve clashes and conflicts in electrical systems within the BIM environment.
- Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle to reflect design changes and as-built conditions.
- Prepare detailed electrical layouts including power, lighting, cable routing, containment systems, fire alarm, Security, etc.
- Perform clash detection and provide solutions to resolve conflicts between electrical systems and other building components within the models.
- Generate 2D drawings and documentation from BIM models as required for construction and coordination purposes.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and software advancements related to BIM and electrical design..
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in MEP modeling using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Proven experience as a BIM Modeler specializing in Electrical systems, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Autodesk software such as Revit, AutoCAD, etc.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems design principles and codes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality BIM models.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other BIM software and tools.
- Automation skills that can reduce time and increase efficiency.
- Proficiency in cloud-based collaboration tools and platforms.
- Knowledge of construction documentation and standards.
- English Conversation is a must.
